Climateabad, like a lot of us, was born of a wedding. Risham and Jibreel were taken aback by the success and love they received at their Climate-Wedding (hyperlink to Climate wedding website). Neither had expected there to be such an appetite for climate education and action, in Pakistan of all places. As expected, both got greedy, and mission accomplished quickly turned into let's Carry On:

Climate Change is still happening. Climate Crisis is still hitting Pakistan and the rest of the Global South. Climate Education is still not common, and Climate Action is still not on the agenda.

So let's get it on the Agenda.

Climateabad is an initiative to bring together Climate Education, Adaptation, and Action for our fellow Brown People in the Global South.

We want to help support and spread indigenously-adapted climate messaging for our people, so it is accessible and understood by the vast majority who need it. And provide them with locally-suitable solutions and workable methods for Climate Action.

We know our countries are all headed into a climate disaster, not of our own making. But we don't need to be helpless. And we are not giving up.

Let's make our Climateabad!
